Students to Scholars empowers promising students from under-resourced communities to access and excel in independent middle schools, preparing them for success in high school and college
“Attending independent school was a huge change for me. The smaller class size, having one-on-one personal relationship with your teachers, the attention and care from them and the staff, knowing all your classmates personally and building that team work, teachers challenging you to reach your potential, being more focused in my education, and a friendly and welcoming environment were all new to me.
As a result, I have grown more in my academics and maturity. I have developed a love for reading and researching. In math, I am already doing 9th grade work while in 8th grade. In science, I can do experiments successfully by myself because I have been taught how to do so. And, I have grown as a person too."
